At Cartagena’s Café 472, you’ll learn how Colombian coffee is grown, processed, roasted, and brewed. Guides such as Tomás, Santiago, Pedro, and Arturo lead a two-hour tasting with fresh fruit, chocolate, aroma exercises, and three coffees prepared by Chemex, V60, and Hario siphon.

At Twin Beans Farm, guide Jessie takes you through an Arabica plantation, coffee processing, roasting, and brewing. You roast your own beans, taste the coffee on site, and may join the harvest from November to January. The farm is 20 km from Da Lat, with pickup offered, a 1:30 pm start, and groups capped at 10.

At Hala Tree Coffee in Captain Cook, you’ll learn how coffee processing affects roasting, watch a full drum-roaster cycle, and roast your own beans under supervision. The one-hour private class starts at 9:00 a.m., includes farm-fresh samples, and ends with the chance to buy from 12 coffees, including 100% Kona Coffee.

At HuyEco Coffee & Culture in central Da Lat, farmer and guide Huy introduces five coffees from his farm, including Arabica and Robusta. You will compare processing and roast levels, roast beans yourself, try several brewing methods, and make a traditional phin coffee. English and Vietnamese tours suit groups of up to 10.

At Love Kitchen Lab in Hanoi’s Tây Hồ district, an English-speaking home chef guides you through baguette dough, pickled vegetables, fillings, sauces, and Vietnamese egg, salt, or coconut coffee. The four-hour class serves a maximum of 15 people and includes ingredients, equipment, recipes, and your handmade meal.

Spend about five hours at La Casa Grande Coffee Hacienda in Santa Elena, only 25 minutes from Medellín. You’ll plant, harvest, roast, grind, and taste coffee, then share a homemade meal with the family. Pickup begins at 10:00 am from Wake Living in El Poblado, though you should confirm current transfer arrangements before booking.
