Medellin: Coffee Tour, Horseback Arrival, and Sugar Cane

2.Coffee Tour, Horseback Arrival, and Sugar Cane

★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 82 reviews · 6 hours · from $76

From El Poblado, guide Christian and his family lead you to a mountain coffee farm in Western Antioquia. You arrive by horseback, mule, or donkey, then pick and process beans, compare brewing styles, learn about sugar cane, and eat a typical lunch with sweeping views. English and Spanish tours last six hours.

“Excellent tour and Christian and his family were very welcoming to allow us on their property. The views were incredible, the coffee lesson was excellent. They served us lunch which was also very tasty with options for vegetarians. My only advice is there could be better communication prior to pick up as I waited about an hour after the scheduled time to be picked up. Otherwise unforgettable experience and would recommend 100%. I will cherish my experience forever.”
